Connecticut Kitchen Guide is an independent directory of kitchen remodeling contractors in Connecticut. Every listing pulls business details from public sources, and every score is calculated from Google reviews using a single, published rubric that applies the same standards to all businesses equally. You can list here for free, and no payment changes your score or ranking. This page explains how to correct inaccurate information, challenge a score, or request removal. Fixing incorrect information

Your business name, address, phone number, website, hours, and services may all contain errors when your listing appears. To fix a factual field, send us the correct information along with proof we can verify against, such as your company website or your Google Business Profile. Once we confirm the correction, it stays in place even when we refresh our data from public sources in future months.

Challenging your score

Scores are never hand-edited by our team. If your score seems wrong, the issue is not the calculation but the input data. You can dispute a score by claiming that your listing was matched to the wrong business, that reviews were attributed to you incorrectly, or that our summary of what reviewers actually wrote is inaccurate. When you file a dispute, we re-examine the sources and regenerate your listing from scratch. A dispute is a claim that the facts are wrong, not a request for a higher number.

Requesting removal

We remove listings when a business has permanently closed, when two listings duplicate the same business, or when a listing falls outside the scope of this directory. Our monthly verification cycle also finds and removes permanently closed businesses automatically. If your listing is accurate and in scope, a removal request will be declined, and we will explain why plainly.

How quickly we respond

Every request receives an acknowledgment within 5 business days. If your removal is confirmed, we action it within 7 days. Any request we decline comes with a clear reason.
