How this site handles your information
Connecticut Kitchen Guide is an independent directory of kitchen remodeler businesses in Connecticut, published by True Level Media. This page explains what information the site collects when you use it, where that information goes, and how to reach us about it.
Information this site collects
When you send an enquiry or quote request through a form on this site, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, your message, and any answers you give about the service you need or your timing. Alongside that, the form records the page you submitted from and basic traffic-source attribution, meaning the referring site and any UTM tags on the link that brought you here.
Where your enquiry goes
Your submission goes through our lead-capture processor, which delivers it to the kitchen remodeler business you enquired about and to the site operator. Those are the only recipients of a form submission.
Local storage
We do not set tracking cookies of our own. The one thing the site stores client-side is session-scoped attribution data (referrer, landing page, UTM parameters) in sessionStorage, so that a form sent later in your visit records where you came from. It is first-party only and clears when the session ends.
Usage measurement
Where analytics is enabled on this site, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager may set cookies to help us understand which pages visitors use. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that data.
Third-party services
Loading a page here can involve requests to a small set of third parties, each of which sees standard request data such as your IP address: Google Fonts (typefaces), OpenStreetMap (map tiles), and, when enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile (form spam protection). Their own privacy policies apply to those requests.
Information about listed businesses
Listings are built from public sources such as Google Business Profile reviews. What we keep is derived analysis: scores, summaries, and sentiment, never the raw review text itself. Businesses that want a listing corrected or removed can follow the listing policy.
Retention and your requests
Enquiry details are retained while they are needed to deliver and follow up the enquiry, and not longer than that purpose requires. You can ask for access to your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to hello@truelevelmedia.com.
