What full kitchen remodeling involves in Bridgeport, what to check before hiring, and how our scoring works. 44 local businesses covered.
A full kitchen remodel means gutting the room down to the studs or subfloor and rebuilding it: new cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, and often a reworked layout that moves plumbing or electrical to open up the space. That's different from a cosmetic refresh (new paint, hardware, maybe a backsplash) or a partial update (just countertops or just cabinet fronts). In Bridgeport, this category covers 44 businesses that handle the whole job, from design and permitting through demolition, framing, rough-in, and finish work.
Ask whether the company pulls its own permits or subcontracts that out, and whether they carry Connecticut home improvement contractor registration and liability insurance. Get a written scope of work that spells out materials, allowances for cabinets and countertops, and a payment schedule tied to milestones rather than upfront lump sums. Ask how they handle change orders once walls are open, since that's where budgets usually slip. A company that walks your kitchen in person and gives a detailed line-item estimate is generally more trustworthy than one that quotes a flat number over the phone.
Our rankings weigh review consistency, responsiveness, licensing and insurance status, and how well a company communicates through the messy middle of demolition and delays. See the full breakdown in our methodology, or jump straight to the best kitchen remodelers in Bridgeport for our ranked list.

Ventura Tile handles kitchen work, plumbing, and small repairs across Bridgeport with rapid response and clean execution. Most customers praise Davison and Deivi by name for professionalism, fair pricing, and finishing jobs the same day. One shower installation leaked two months later; the company refused responsibility, a significant caveat for major work.
After two decades and across multiple projects, customers describe a team that shows up on schedule, completes work cleanly, and communicates openly about delays or concerns. Exterior painting, interior finishing, and custom carpentry dominate their praise; the family operation (Darcy and Juliana managing office and appointments) builds trust through consistent follow-through and competitive quotes.
All 14 reviewers rated Pillco five stars. Fabian, named repeatedly, stands out for careful countertop installation, basement work, and finishes that pass inspector review. Customers praise his patience, responsiveness to feedback, and consistent cleanup. Pricing is noted as competitive across the NY and CT region.
Davin and his team deliver cabinet work in a single day or two, with every reviewer noting professionalism and punctuality. Beyond refacing, he proposes layout improvements (converting cabinets to drawers, hiding trash), listens closely to what customers want, and stands behind results with a five-year guarantee. Reviewers span small kitchen refreshes to custom builds for high-end appliances. The 25-year repeat customer and the Miele steam oven cabinet (fixed at no charge when issues arose later) show trust built on follow-through. Materials range from painted finishes to solid oak, all described as beautiful years later.

Most jobs wrap in a day with crews arriving early and leaving properties spotless; owners and staff earn consistent praise for professionalism and attention to detail. Two older disputes highlight communication gaps during scheduling and warranty disagreements after installation, though one complainant noted the owner called back to discuss the concern. The bulk of recent experience centers on roofing work, with kitchen remodeling not clearly evidenced in current reviews.
All 19 recent reviews awarded five stars. Reviewers consistently praise Danny and his team for speed, responsiveness, and meticulous work. The owner regularly supervises projects in person, accommodates changes mid-project, and responds promptly to calls and messages. Multiple customers hired him repeatedly over years, citing his reliability and willingness to tackle jobs from plumbing and electrical to carpentry, hardscaping, and full renovations.
Bryan Contracting built a 4.8-star reputation by showing up early and finishing on schedule, with crews that stay polite and sweep before they leave. Most kitchens and cabinet jobs go without a hitch, including tricky work in older homes with uneven floors. One significant 2-star review flagged a crew member named Manny for rudeness, multiple call-backs, unsecured cabinets, drilling holes indiscriminately, and floor damage. That bad experience sits among 67 five-star ratings, suggesting either an isolated incident or inconsistent crew performance. Kitchen cabinet installation is their bread and butter, with strong praise for finish quality and precision fit. Full remodels get solid marks for communication and project flow. No reviews mentioned eco-friendly materials or kitchen design consultation. Price information is not discussed in any review.
Reviewers consistently praise speed, professionalism, and quality across kitchen, bathroom, and basement projects. Alexis and his crew communicate clearly, stay organized, clean up after each day, and deliver results that exceed customer expectations at competitive rates.

When Fernando runs the job, the work is solid: full kitchen and bathroom remodels done on budget, on time, with careful cleanup and open communication. The recent one-star review signals a shift: new management (Cinco) has left customers waiting for quotes and unresponsive. Past work shows skill in structural changes, tile, flooring, and painting.
All 19 reviews award five stars. Customers report Xavier and his team consistently complete projects on time, within budget, and leave spaces clean. Kitchen work includes cabinetry painting, backsplashes, and tile flooring. Reviewers consistently report excellent kitchen remodels and general home projects from Ícaro and Thiago, praising clean craftsmanship, on-budget delivery, and responsive communication. One outlier complaint about shoddy work exists, but the 4.9 rating across 39 reviews and repeat-client base suggest an isolated incident.

Multiple reviews highlight custom details like tile-cutting, dust containment, and permit handling; past clients return for new projects.
Leandro and Juliana deliver granite and quartz countertops with consistent professionalism and speed. Reviewers praise their ability to template, fabricate, and install within days, their fair pricing versus larger firms, and Juliana's attentive project coordination. The team handles kitchen islands, bathroom vanities, and backsplashes with meticulous finishing. Projects range from single counters to full kitchen and bathroom renovations. Customers note the crew respects their home during work and communicates every step. No complaints appear in available reviews.

Strong design talent and installation quality draw repeat customers, but service consistency is the problem. Staff like Tiffany and Benny earn genuine praise for responsiveness and professionalism; yet other team members repeatedly miss appointments, ignore calls, or leave customers hanging on orders. Bridgeport location makes accessibility easy, and their 20-plus-year track record promises experience, but recent reviews show the business struggles to deliver that reliability across all customer touchpoints.
