One designer, Jade Li, earned specific recognition for solving complex layout challenges. Complaints focus on assembly service quality and occasional pickup delays; some reviewers note furniture dimensions feel undersized.
All six reviews are five-star, with customers consistently praising Chris (the owner) and installers for punctuality, friendliness, and fair pricing. Customers report drawers and storage solutions that make kitchens more organized and functional, with warranties backing the work.
Most reviewers rave about Fernando's cabinet painting work, praising speed, cleanliness, and the dramatic transformation from worn to new-looking kitchens. Two negative reviews flag durability issues with tub resurfacing and poor warranty communication, suggesting cabinet work may be stronger than other services.
Reviewers consistently encounter capable crews who show respect for both the work and the home. Kitchen jobs, bathroom renovations, and basement finishes all came out to magazine standards, with staff sending updates and cleaning up daily. One drawback: early timeline promises were missed by months on a deck project, though the final quality satisfied the customer anyway. Fabian, the owner, and crew members including Dennis and Harvey are named repeatedly for professionalism and problem-solving. The business handles permits, catches blueprint errors, adapts to mid-project changes, and works well around families. Prices strike reviewers as fair given the quality; one customer described them as "absolutely incredible" for a full house restoration.

Reviewers consistently report quick responses, professional teams who explain work clearly, and polished finishes on everything from gutters to full remodels. David, Kosta, and Mo are named repeatedly for thoughtful communication and follow-up; the company declined unnecessary termite repairs and earned trust by doing so. One commercial prospect felt turned away during an initial call.
Shiny Construction earns consistent praise for quality work, fair estimates, and a clean job site. Horacio (the owner) and his team show up on time, communicate well, and clean up after themselves-reviewers repeatedly say they'd hire them again.
Monica Velez and Jonathan Gordon translate vague ideas into functional, beautiful spaces with patience and genuine care. Both designers excel at understanding clients' style, managing contractors, and solving problems mid-project. They offer flexible pricing tiers and work across new construction, renovations, and furnishing-only projects. Their main friction point is waitlists for initial consultations, though reviewers note this reflects demand rather than a service flaw.
Renato and his team consistently deliver kitchen and bathroom work on schedule and to spec. Reviewers praise their responsiveness, precision in cabinet installation and countertop work, and habit of cleaning up daily. A single complaint about missed appointments stands out against overwhelmingly positive feedback on professionalism and project management. The business serves full remodels and smaller updates across West Haven and surrounding towns. Staff members like Olguer and Jennifer are named for their contributions. Pricing is noted as reasonable. One reviewer returned for a second deck project, suggesting strong repeat-business appeal.
